Message I went with them because my heads and block were decked beyond factory specs to keep timing accurate. Thicker gaskets were required to ensure the spacing from the crank to cams was within spec. I don't remember what the tolerance is, its close to .010". Check the FSM. If more was removed, you'll need thicker gaskets.

I used 8.5:1 wiseco pistons with power goals similar to yours and sport 500 turbos. I was just thinking the other day if I were to d it all over again I'd go with higher compression pistons to have more low end power and make better use of the smaller turbos. I would absolutely consider higher compression pistons at your power levels with stock turbos. You'll be able to run them at 15psi knowing you're getting the most out of them and won't be tempted to turn them up to 18psi and burn them out.

740cc injectors will be fine. If you ever get the bug for more power you won't have to reinvest in larger injectors. Having 740cc over 555cc won't hurt anything. Its the smart move.
